Our portfolio of clients includes owners of businesses, apartment and commercial buildings, and single-family homes. Since each claim is unique, we provide free consultation to policyholders to help them determine whether our services are warranted. Bill Hedden, founding partner of Consolidated Adjusting, Inc., has 30 years of experience in the property insurance industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the job. In addition to being a licensed public adjuster, Bill is a member of the State Bar of California, a licensed General Contractor and a Real Estate Broker. He is a consummate professional and a tenacious advocate for policyholders. His success working for the insured is consistently demonstrated with monetary settlements that exceed the client’s expectations. Bill recognizes that handling a large number of claims at one time diminishes the outcome of the individual claim. He develops a thorough understanding of the property loss and policy coverage issues. He then applies that information in an effective strategy that enhances the outcome of the claim. In 1996 Bill was asked to join the Board of Directors of United Policyholders, a non-profit consumer interest group formed after the Oakland Hills Firestorm to educate and assist the insured.
Robert Crown, brings to Consolidated Adjusting, Inc. more than 29 years of experience as a public adjuster. When Robert and Bill began working together in 1999, Robert brought a unique skill-set. He had 14 years experience at a large Bay Area public adjusting firm, had professional experience in home remodeling and worked as a client advocate with a Masters Degree in Social Work Administration. His background and deep personal commitment to service and advocacy is exemplified in his relationships with both clients and industry professionals.
