Consolidated Adjusting, Inc. is a small Public Adjusting firm—and we like it that way. We are personally committed to each client relationship and intentionally limit the number of claims we handle at one time. We do not delegate our responsibilities to anyone. This way you know your claim is in professional, test-proven hands, and we know that we are able to fully devote our skills and talents to your claim. Our goal is to save you unnecessary stress and aggravation and deliver a favorable outcome in a timely manner.

We specialize in large property insurance claims due to fire, flood, earthquake and other events. Our portfolio of clients includes owners of businesses, apartment and commercial buildings, and single-family homes. Since each claim is unique, we provide free consultation to policyholders to help them determine whether our services are warranted. If we are not needed for your claim, we will provide you with choices for alternate representation that suits your individual circumstances and goals.

Bill Hedden, founder of Consolidated Adjusting, Inc., has 30 years of experience in the property insurance industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the job. In addition to being a licensed public adjuster, Bill is a member of the State Bar of California, a licensed General Contractor (inactive status) and a Real Estate Broker (inactive status). He is a consummate professional and a tenacious advocate for policyholders. His success working for the insured is consistently demonstrated with monetary settlements that exceed the client’s expectations. Bill recognizes that handling a large number of claims at one time diminishes the outcome of the individual claim. He develops a thorough understanding of the property loss and policy coverage issues. He then applies that information in an effective strategy that enhances the outcome of the claim. In 1996 Bill was asked to join the Board of Directors of United Policyholders, a non-profit consumer interest group formed after the Oakland Hills Firestorm to educate and assist the insured.
